After last year's hugely successful online quiz, our Quizmaster Steve (right), Hana & Jessica are back this year, to fuel some more good cheer & merriment, offer up some incredible prizes and raise much needed funds to help local people to access our person-centred mental health support and activities.

It's a maximum of 6 people to each team so choose wisely & let's get quizzical! 

Location & time

Guests are welcome to arrive from 7.30pm at King Charles the Martyr Church Hall, TN2 5TA.

Please note the event is taking place at the Church Hall, which is located on Warwick Park, behind the Church itself. For a street view please click here .

Unfortunately, joining us via zoom is no longer an option. This is now an in-person event only. 

Cost

Tickets are £7.50 per person, with a maximum of 6 people per team.

Raffle tickets and raffle prizes 

We are also selling raffle tickets in advance at £5 for a strip of 5 raffle tickets.

Tickets can be bought in advance below by choosing the 'Strip of 5 raffle tickets' option under the 'Book a place' section.

How to buy raffle tickets

Drinks & snacks

This is a BYO event so please do bring along whatever alcoholic drinks you would like to drink on the night.

There will be snacks and soft drinks available in return for a small donation.

Getting to the venue

The main railway station and car parks are only a few minutes’ walk away, and local buses stop right outside. 

There is limited parking at the venue itself, however other parking options close by are:

  1. Linden Park Road Car Park. Open 24 hours. Free parking from 6pm. Postcode TN2 5QL.
  2. The Pantiles Car Park, Major Yorks Road (adjacent to The Common). Open 24 hours. Postcode TN2 5TP.

Keeping safe from Covid

This week, the Government announced new measures to tackle the to tackle Omicron variant, including mandatory mask-wearing in shops and on public transport in England. Please see below for the measures we have in place for the quiz.

Before quiz/ on arrival

  • Guests will be asked to stay home if they have a positive Covid-19 test or have been asked to self-isolate by NHS Test and Trace. If they feel unwell, or appear to be unwell, guests will also be asked to stay at home.

  • A temperature check will be taken at the door on arrival at the quiz.

  • Masks should be worn in the entrance hall in upon arrival and until guests are seated. Mask-wearing during the quiz optional.

  • A one way entrance and exit from the hall will be in place.

  • Social distancing in the car park is encouraged.

  • All names and email addresses of those who attend will be recorded. Guests will be asked to notify us if they later test positive and have attended the quiz.

In the hall & during the event

  • Guests are asked to kindly bring own drinks, glasses and pens.

  • Door handles, tables and chairs will be cleaned before and after use.

  • Hand sanitiser will be provided at the hall entrance and on tables.

  • Tables will be large enough to fit 6 people only and will be spaced out from other tables.

  • Social distancing guidance should be observed between tables.

  • The front door will remain open to ensure ventilation (the heating will be on, but please wrap up!).

  • Card payments are encouraged.
