On the weekend of 25th & 26th September, our incredible Corporate Partnerships Volunteer, Paul, completed the gruelling Hever Gauntlet Triathlon, a 1.9k swim, 90k cycle and 20k run, to raise funds for Mental Health Resource!

The races commenced with an open water swim in the spectacular 38 acre Hever Castle Lake and River Eden, transitioning into the undulating cycle around the High Weald of Kent and Ashdown Forest before athletes made the final dash to the finish line.

Paul endured 6 months for training for this event, enduring early morning training sessions, irregular mealtimes and even a reduced social life, but his amazing efforts have raised an astonishing £1000 for our charity, which will go towards enabling local people to access our person centred mental health support and activities that improve their mental wellbeing.

Thank you so much, Paul, for all your support!

I’ve decided to use the event / my suffering to try and raise much funds for Mental Health Resource, a Tunbridge Wells based charity who provide mental health support to the local community – it’s been tough for the charity as it has been for most through lockdown, with their ability to fundraise in the community impacted which has in turn affected the services that they have been able to offer.
