Our services Mental Health Training Adult Mental Health Aware Online Training What is the Adult Mental Health Aware course? Now is the time to join a community of over half a million people trained in MHFA England knowledge and skills. This course provides an introduction to mental health and the factors that can affect people's wellbeing. Our online half day course is an introductory four hour session to raise awareness of mental health. It is designed to give you: An understanding of what mental health is and how to challenge stigma. A basic knowledge of some common mental health issues. An introduction to looking after your own mental health and maintaining wellbeing. Confidence to support someone in distress or who may be experiencing a mental health issue. The Cost We value this course at a cost of £50 per person. Format This is a half day course delivered via online video conferencing We limit numbers to 12 people per course so that the instructor can keep people safe and supported while they learn. What to expect Learning takes place through a mix of presentations, group discussions and workshop activities. Everyone who completes the course gets: An electronic manual to refer to whenever you need it. A workbook including a helpful toolkit to support your own mental health. Stress and stress management Supporting mental health in the workplace Mental Health Continuum Spotting signs of distress Useful statistics Factors which affect mental health Mental health conditions: Helpful resources Stigma Recovery About our Trainer Libby Notley is an experienced Trainer with Mental Health Resource, having delivered trainings to local companies and businesses on topics including 'Mental Health in the Workplace' and 'Effective Communication and Mental Health' She is approved by Mental Health First Aid England to deliver the Adult Mental Health Aware (half day Zoom training) course on behalf of Mental Health Resource. MHFA England is a community interest company working to increase mental health awareness and skills across society. Their courses are designed to empower people to support their own mental health and that of the people they connect with in life.
