Companies & Societies

  • Creaseys Accountants, Tunbridge Wells have chosen Mental Health Resource as their Charity of the Year for a 2nd year running! 
  • Sweetwoods Seniors Golf Society are holding a range of fundraising events this year to support Mental Health
    Resource.
  • Spire Tunbridge Wells Hospital are holding a week of fundraising events in June 2019 to support our vision and cause.
  • John Lewis & Partners in Tunbridge Wells are currently supporting our charity by displaying collection tins in their store. 

Trusts & Funds

  • Gatwick Foundation Fund and Polebrook Fund are proud to fund our Reachout Youth project for 2018-2019. This project helps 50 young people every year who benefit from these cafe style sessions to support them with their mental and emotional wellbeing. 
  • The Kent Police & Crime Commissioner's 'Mental Health & Policing Fund' awarded Mental Health Resource funding to continue our out of hours Serenity Crisis Cafe, for those suffering from a mental health crisis. It is a lifeline for many and we are hugely grateful for this continued funding.
  • We are thrilled to have the generous support of funding from The Brook Trust Fund for Kent, administered by Kent Community Foundation, for our Reachout Youth project for 13-19 year olds. This means we can continue to offer our cafe-style sessions for another 12 months!
  • Cllr Peter Oakford kindly allocated funding from the Combined Members Grant to our charity, to help us fund the costs of our new website. Thank you Cllr Oakford!

  • Love Where We Live Awards Finalist for 'Charity of the Year' - 2018. 
  • Special Recognition Award for our Founding Director, David Hardie in the 'Love Where we Live' - 2018. 

Community

  • Denny's Place Barbers14 Arrows Tattoo hosted Denny's Fest in August 2019 - a fantastic day packed with live music, a raffle, BBQ, half price hair cuts & £30 tattoos. Thank you to everyone involved!
  • Ministry of Sound Resident DJ, Tim Cullen holds regular house and techno nights at the Forum to raise funds and awareness for Mental Health Resource. Complete with strobes, smoke, lasers and a superb selection of talented DJs spinning alongside Tim’s darker alias, STRiCKLAND, this is never a night to be missed! Thank you Tim for all your ongoing support!
  • Royal Tunbridge Wells Round Table awarded us £800 to support our allotment project to fund pollytunnels and a greenhouse. Thank you Round Table!
  • Judy Horwood, Jill Neve and Hana Wynne are 3 brave souls who have raised money for Mental Health Resource with a Firewalk! Thank you ladies for your bravery!
  • Talia Burgess is running the Yorkshire marathon for Mental Health Resource in October 2019. Why not donate to her appeal!
  • Lisa Whitehouse offers regular Forest Yoga at Bedgebury classes with proceeds coming to Mental health Resource! Thank you Lisa!
  • Sally Marshall has used her design skills to give us a fantastic new look by re-designing our logos! Thank you Sally!
  • Video 282 Production created our fantastic promotional video about 3 of our key projects and what it means to the people who access these services. Thank you Kieran and Video 282!
