Matchbox Opera presents Opera Classics Concert

Matchbox Opera Concert

The members of Matchbox Opera are putting on a concert in memory of their friend Dr Mark Pasola, who sadly died last year. This concert will be a glorious celebration of all the music he loved, and that they sang together.

The programme includes arias, duets and ensembles from The Marriage Of Figaro, The Magic Flute, Tosca, Rigoletto, La Boheme and more.

Singers from Matchbox Opera will be joined by Richard Rowe. Richard has worked with Scottish opera, Opera North and the ENO, and delighted Matchbox's audiences with his Don Jose in Carmen and Rudolpho in La Boheme.

The Opera's accompanists will be joined by Jong-Gyung Park and Anthony Zerpa-Falcon. Not only will they be accompanying the opera pieces, but will also be giving us one of their 4 handed duets.

The concert is non ticketed, and there is no need to book, so please just come and enjoy the music. The Matchbox Opera are using the event to raise money for Mental Health Resource. To make a donation visit their fundraising page. You can also donate on the night with cash.
