Our services The Hub "I visited the Hub with a friend as I was supporting him through a tough time. I had attempted to take my life a few months before that. Fast forward 4 months and the Hub has been my absolute lifeline." Welcome to the Hub The Hub is our friendly and welcoming wellbeing centre, which provides wellbeing activities and a safe space for anyone who'd like some support with their mental health, where they can feel valued and heard. The Hub is located at 2a Grosvenor Park, Tunbridge Wells, Kent, TN1 2BD and we run activities Monday to Friday. (Some of our activities may take place at other community venues).* (*The building at 2a Grosvenor Park has chair lifts, however, it may not be suitable for people who are unable to transfer out of a wheelchair. Please do contact us to discuss your mobility needs before visiting us. Some of our Hub creative arts groups are delivered in other community venues, which are accessible.) How can the Hub help me? Wellbeing activities We believe in the importance of engaging activities and a safe space to talk, which is why we offer a full timetable of wellbeing activities free of charge, designed to boost confidence and self-esteem. Our allotment group and walking groups all provide opportunities for connection and exercise, while our art, craft, talking groups, needlecraft and creative writing sessions enable people to feel valued and heard. For a full timetable, please see below. Personalised support We believe in person-centred mental health support and at the Hub, we tailor our support to fit you. Our goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment where you can improve your mental health and emotional wellbeing. After contacting us, we will work with you to develop a progress plan that suits your needs. We often use the 6 ways to wellbeing to help people enhance their mental wellbeing. Last year alone, our Hub team supported 242 people. Peer support We recognise the value of peer support and our groups are built on shared empathy and the power of friendship. Many of our groups are led by clients or volunteers who also live with mental health conditions and who can understand first-hand the challenges that this brings. Last year alone, we delivered 665 wellbeing groups at the Hub, which all gave our clients the opportunity for connection.
