"I like the mixed groups and staff understand my mental health. I've been receiving support at the Hub and I'm extremely grateful to the staff. I don’t know where I'd be without the Hub."

About the Hub

Welcome to The Hub, our vibrant wellbeing centre located in the heart of Tunbridge Wells and serving clients from all over the local area. We're here for all adults seeking support for emotional or mental health needs. Our friendly and welcoming environment is a sanctuary where you can feel safe and valued.

The Hub is located at 2a Grosvenor Park, Tunbridge Wells, Kent, TN1 2BD and we run activities Monday to Friday. (Some of our activities may take place at other community venues).

Wellbeing activities

At the Hub, we believe in the importance of engaging activities and a safe space to talk. We offer a range of wellbeing activities free of charge which are all designed to boost confidence and self-esteem. Our allotment group and walking groups all provide opportunities for connection and exercise, while our art, craft, talking groups, needlecraft and creative writing sessions enable people to feel valued and heard.

Our Impact

Our dedicated and compassionate staff make a significant difference to clients, providing 1-2-1 support through our drop in service and wellbeing activities to 303 clients last year alone. We're proud of our impact and are committed to helping even more individuals.

How can the Hub help me?

If you want some help to improve your mental health and emotional wellbeing, contact us to begin to access our wellbeing activities. Our team will help you develop a tailored progress plan and we often use the 6 ways to wellbeing to promote and help people improve their mental wellbeing.

Most importantly we recognise the value of friendship and peer support. Many of our groups are led by clients or volunteers who also live with mental health conditions.

Personalised support

We believe in person-centred mental health support and at the Hub, we tailor our support to fit you. After contacting us, our team will work with you to develop a progress plan that suits your needs. We often use the 6 ways to wellbeing to help people enhance their mental wellbeing.

Peer support

Our groups are built on shared empathy and the power of friendship and peer support. Many of our groups are led by individuals who understand first-hand the challenges of living with mental health conditions and so in our community, understanding is at the heart of what we do.
