Creaseys

Creaseys Accountants in Tunbridge Wells recently chose Mental Health Resource as their Charity of the Year for 2 years running!

Creaseys are one of the ‘Sunday Times Best Small Companies to work for’ in 2019. And we can see why!

They held a number of fundraising events including rounders tournaments, comedy nights, a festive jumper day, cake sales and more. Creaseys staff also came support our fundraising events and have often visited us at the Hub to find out more about our work.

Sweetwoods Seniors Golf Society

Sweetwoods Seniors Golf Society raised just under £3000 this year to support Mental Health Resource.

In 2019, Mental Health Resource were chosen as the charity of the year by The Seniors Golf club Society at Sweetwoods Golf Club in Kent. The Golf Society hosted quizes, plant and cake sales, raffles and auctions throughout the year and we were also invited to speak about our work in the community, supporting people with a whole range of mental health illnesses.

Spire Tunbridge Wells Hospital

Spire Tunbridge Wells Hospital chose to support Mental Health Resource as part of their wellbeing week in June 2019.

Spire offers world-class care and is part of one of the UK’s most respected private hospital groups. So we are so thrilled to be chosen as their local charity to support during this week's fundraising events. 

 Their fundraising efforts, as part of their Wellbeing Week, included a cake sake and a sponsored cycle ride.  

John Lewis & Partners

John Lewis & Partners, Tunbridge Wells are kindly supporting our charity by displaying collection tins in their store and raising awareness of our services amongst their staff.

TW Boorman Funeral Directors

TW Boorman Funeral Directors, part of the Funeral Partners Group, recently supported Mental Health Resource by promoting our services and fundraising, along with 6 other local offices linked with Funeral Partners in West Kent.

TW Boorman Funeral Services is a long established funeral directors in Tunbridge Wells and they take great pride in supporting the local communities in our community, regularly organising and participating in local events and charity fundraising activities.

To show their support for Mental Health Resource, each of the 7 local offices have a window display about our charity, advertising our services to those who might need some level of support with their mental health. We are also thrilled to receive around 60 bags of toiletries for our clients and some clients even received free haircuts, thanks to the staff at TW Boorman! 

Markerstudy Insurance

Markerstudy Insurance, Tunbridge Wells, recently marked World Mental Health Day by holding a fundraising day, raising over £300 for Mental Health Resource! Taking place at Salomons Estate, the theme was based around the concept of 18 years.

Staff were encouraged to dress up as a person they admired at that time, with entries including Madonna and the Pet Shop Boys! Other fun activities included quizzes and team orientation games, with ‘Attenborough’s Animals’ winning the overall team challenges!

Sandersons UK

Sandersons UK, an estate agents based in Canterbury, raised an incredible £1975 for Mental Health Resource by completing a gruelling Commando Run!

On 10th November 2019, Chris, Mark, Robin, Antony & Alex braved a 12km course with 48 of the toughest obstacles straight out of the commando test book. They endured the mud, sweat and pain of modern day Royal Marines Commando training. Despite that, they all still made it into work the next day.
