Our services Reachout Youth “Reachout Youth helped me when I thought I couldn’t get through. I feel less alone and understand it's normal to have bad days. It's nice to speak to people who get how you're feeling and give you advice on how to cope. It's also a nice distraction to switch off from the real world. Thank you.” What is Reachout Youth? Reachout Youth is a free service offering cafe-style sessions & wellbeing support to young people, aged 13-19, in Tunbridge Wells and Tonbridge. The groups are completely free and are designed specifically for individuals aged 13-19, striving to enhance mental wellbeing and foster a thriving community where young people can support one another while taking part in fun activities. If you are feeling anxious or depressed or simply want to try out something new where you can make new friends and have some fun after school, why not join us for a trial session, just like Kai . What we offer: Tailored Support: The groups gives you a safe space so you can talk about things with our experienced staff, that you might not usually want to share with friends or family. Peer Connections: Make new friends & improve your confidence and self-esteem through connecting with like-minded young people where you all have a space to express your feelings...and have some fun! Wellbeing Toolkit: Every week we will explore issues around a new theme, which you can choose, and as a group we will learn tools, techniques & resources to help manage feelings of anxiety or worry. Creative activities: You can take part in a number of activities all designed for you to feel more grounded and relaxed. In the past we have done activities including stone painting & pancake making. You can even enjoy hearing from Guest Speakers and occasional day trips in the summer months! Refreshments: Join us at our cafe, located at our Hub building, to have some snacks after school, like pizza, hot chocolate & crisps. Reachout Youth is for anyone aged 13-19 - so why not give it a try! "Overall, it’s helped me massively. The improvement that I’ve noticed in my mental health and my wellbeing is just amazing.
