Unfortunately, as a small charity, we are unable to stay open 24/7. However, if you are in emotional distress and need urgent support, there is help available. Please follow the links below or download our 'Where to go for help' document.

Where to go for help

If you are in emotional distress and need urgent support, please contact:  

  • Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust (KMPT) - Single Point of Access (SPA) – Referral line for NHS Mental Health Services and a freephone number for anyone who needs urgent mental health support. 0800 783 9111
  • SanelineA national out-of-hours mental health helpline offering specialist emotional support, guidance and information to anyone affected by mental illness, including family, friends and carers. 0300 304 7000 4.30pm – 10.30pm
  • Mental Health Matters Safe Haven – Kent and Medway Safe Havens offer out-of-hours mental health support to anyone aged 16+ in the Kent area. Maidstone Safe Haven: 07484 061684. Open 6pm-11pm every day (including weekends and bank holidays).
  • Samaritans - 116 123 (free phone number) 24/7 support line
  • Release the Pressure Free expert advice from trained counsellors is available for every mental health concern. 0800 107 0160 or text the word KENT to 85258.
