New items donated for the allotment

On World Mental Health Day, Monday 10th October, our new allotment shed was broken into. Everything was taken including power tools & gardening equipment, which was a devastating blow for us.

Not only had we worked hard to raise the funds to purchase the equipment, but we were hugely concerned about the wellbeing of our clients, who see the allotment as a safe space to come & be free of life's challenges.

However, we were absolutely blown away by the incredible donations that we received by people in our community who wanted to help us get back up and running at the allotment as quickly as possible.

Mental Health Resource in the Courier

We were blown away when Kevin Martin, Hire & Logistics Director at The Michael Lonsdale Group, the UK's leading multi-discipline building and engineering services provider, stepped in to help.

On Wednesday 19th October, Kevin Martin, James Deere, Chris and Andre delivered brand new items for our allotment shed to replace the items which had been stolen.

Both the Michael Lonsdale Group & Bison UK donated items including orbital sanders, battery chargers, a combi drill, forks & spades, screwdrivers, chisels, a work bench, a Petrol hedge trimmer and so much more!

They also kindly delivered 2 state-of-the-art tool vault so that our new goods are completely secure.

Thank you Kevin & the team at Michael Lonsdale group & Bison UK for making such an incredible gesture. It really has put a smile back on all our faces!
