On Sunday 23rd April, we attended the Royal Tunbridge Wells Round Table giveaway as we have been awarded funding for some very important IT equipment!

This cheque was presented to Jen, our Fundraising and Marketing Manager, by the Deputy Mayor of Tunbridge Wells, Councillor Hugh Patterson. The Mayor also presented cheques to a number of other local charities in our community, including Tunbridge Wells Welcomes Refugees, Imago, St Matt's Community Larder and others.

It was a wonderful morning celebrating some fantastic causes in our town and we were so proud to be a part of it.

The Royal Tunbridge Wells Round Table are a group of ordinary guys, aged 18-45, doing extraordinary things to raise money for charitable causes, for example, by putting on community events like the Dunorlan Park Fireworks and running a Santa Sleigh collection for Nourish foodbank. They also assist with community events including Rusthall Village Fete and the TW Half Marathon.

The money we received will be used to purchase large screens for our computer and headphones, so we can support the hard of hearing and those with visual impairment when we are training clients in valuable IT skills.
