Last night tested our endurance and resilience, and we are extremely proud of everyone who took part. We are so pleased we have been able to fundraise for an amazing charity that supports our local community." Caoimhe Fleming | Study Programme Teacher Runway Training staff sleep out for Mental Health Resource Employees at Runway Training, a specialist training and apprenticeship provider, slept out overnight in their office car park on Thursday 2nd December, one of the coldest nights of the year, to raise funds for Mental Health Resource. 10 staff from Tonbridge-based company slept outside in their company car park, with only sleeping bags and cardboard boxes for warmth, with the simple aim of encouraging others to consider the hardship and mental health challenges faced particularly by those who don’t have shelter. Runway Training are a specialist provider of Maths & English Functional Skills qualifications, Apprenticeships, Traineeships, Certified Short Courses and Soft Skills. In the summer of 2021, they announced Mental Health Resource as their 'Charity of the Year' and the dedicated team have so far raised over £3450, with other fundraising events including a Sponsored Walk and a Rowathon. "I am extremely proud of the Runway staff who took part in the Sleep Out Challenge. It was not much above zero degrees and we had to endure rain from 2am.
