Stephens Road Street Party

On Saturday 4th September, Mental Health Resource was invited along to the fantastic Stephens Road street party, which raised an incredible £1300 for our charity!

The very talented street party committee, formed of Hana & Steve, Jen, Kelly and Nick, Jen and Olly, Bill, Lizzie and Ben, Kate and Tom, Helen, Nicola, The Wells Belles WI, Kate and Mat and Nat and Ranald,  had arranged a wonderful line up of events including a children's procession with drumsticks, ride-on cars for littleuns, glitter tattoos, wacky races, an ice cream van, a raffle and cake competition.

The end of the street party culminated in the headline event - Charity Cream teas served by the Wells Belles WI with residents invited to sit with each other and enjoy the cake and cream teas.

We'd like to say a huge thank you to the members of the Street Party Committee for choosing to support Mental Health Resource with this event and thank you also to every resident who gave their time and money to make this wonderful event happen.

Messages of Positivity - "Be strong, like a dinosaur!"

On the day, we invited residents to write messages of positivity for people in our community who might be suffering with their mental health. Thank you to everyone who took part; your messages were really inspiring!
