Time 4 U Volunteers

‘Time 4 U’ is a new outreach project offered by Mental Health Resource, run out of our vibrant wellbeing centre, the Hub, which has been set up with funding from the National Lottery Communities Fund to provide companionship and support to the socially isolated members of our community living with a mental health condition, who are currently unable to access the Hub or any other service provision.     On the 20th July the HaesCooper team will be completing a 12 hour non-stop cycle in the office to raise money for their charity of the year, The Mental Health Resource! A local business, CrossFit Hunta, will be donating an exercise bike for the day and the HaesCooper team will be keeping the wheels turning continuously for 12 hours in order to raise awareness and money for an amazing charity. We are all really looking forward to completing this challenging event together!

    When a person is detained under the Mental Health Act it can be distressing. Sometimes patients who are being detained feel unable to ask questions or get information. The support of a trained Independent Mental Health Advocate (IMHA) can help.
