Back in 2020, *Alice rang the Hub for support with anxiety and depression. She was encouraged to attend groups and soon joined our allotment group as a volunteer.

“Through taking part in groups and gaining experience of others with mental health issues it has inspired and encouraged me to work with others to get others to be in and enjoy nature to help improve their wellbeing and mental health.

Support from staff at the Hub and them believing in me and encouraging me, was enough to give me a chance and to be able to learn from others has got me to the place I’m at now.

Trying new things and learning new skills and being able then to share my own knowledge and experiences is now helping others on their own journey and inspiring, them to improve themselves.”
